Astral Heron

When you play your first card each turn, if I'm at a battlefield, your next card costs energy_2 rune_rainbow less.

Q: #Riftbound QOTD: I have an Astral Heron at a battlefield with a hidden Here to Help. I have not played any cards yet this turn. I have a unit in my hand that I want to play from Here to Help. Is it possible for me to play the unit completely for free? Why?

What card does Astral Heron’s triggered ability discount?

It discounts the next card played (added to the chain and queued for finalization) this turn after the ability resolves.

Astral Heron has received an erratum to update its wording: “When you play your first card each turn, if I'm at a battlefield, the next card you play this turn costs energy_2 rune_rainbow less.”

Card text now reads:

When you play your first card each turn, if I'm at a battlefield, the next card you play this turn costs less.
