What happens when I conquer with Swain, Visionary, if I’ve only played a Patched Porobot and Stupefy this turn?
You will score 1 point.
Swain only checks whether you’ve played a non-token unit, a non-token gear, and a spell. Checks like that do not care whether they were satisfied by multiple cards or a single card relevant to the trigger conditions.
What happens when I discard a Patched Porobot with Hwei, Brooding Painter’s move trigger?
Two triggers will go on the chain, in the order of your choosing. One says “Give me +3 
this turn.” while the other says “Ready up to 2 runes.”
Hwei, Brooding Painter says “do the following based on the discarded card's type …” Unlike our previous reflexive triggers printed on cards that use a similar template (cf Twisted Fate, Gambler), Hwei doesn’t say “do one of the following …” As long as the card has the appropriate type, you will put the corresponding reflexive trigger on the chain. If somehow there existed a card that was a spell unit gear, you would put three reflexive triggers on the chain when you discard it to Hwei.
