Irelia

I play Shady Spectacles and attach it to a unit. I want to copy Irelia, Fervent. Does Irelia gain +1?

Irelia is not chosen. Tricky question.

Shady Spectacles effect is a replacement effect (with "as" the templating, 369.1.). Because of that, it is exempted from targeting and would not choose Irelia (355.10.c.).
