Q. I activate Ravenborn Tome. I then play Piercing Light as my next spell and repeat it. What is the maximum amount of damage I can deal?
If a deal action has multiple targets, then the damage dealt is increased by the bonus damage to each target (715.2.). Since Piercing Light is repeated, it will have 4 targets and each target is 2 damage. 4 * (2 + 1) = 12.
Why is this different from Teemo, Strategist? Because there's only 1 target and all the damage is dealt to that target (715.1.).
