No. The Mutated Mouser is a defender and has its Tank bonus.

1.8.3.A Contested is a temporary status applied to the battlefield when a Unit controlled by a Player who does not currently Control that Battlefield Moves or otherwise becomes present there.

459.2.B.1 The Attacked is the player whose unit(s) applied the Contested status to the Battlefield. They gain the Attacked designation now.
